I chose the Tough Trucks book but it took Daddy a long time to find it in my bookcase. It is full of pictures of different types of truck and the animals that drive them. When the truck drivers get tired they have a tea break and look at a map. My favourite trucks are a tanker truck and one with fruit in it. I like fruit especially bananas on toast for breakfast.

This great book is part of the fantastic Amazing Machines that are extremely popular with children, especially boys. Each book is packed full of funny pictures, interesting details and words that bounce along. The trucks and their drivers get up to all sorts of things as we learn all about some of the different lorries that are on the road. As with all the books in the series, there is an interesting diagram on the last page which usually provokes endless questions from the children. Our Amazing Machines collection was built up of individual books, but Amazon do a great value boxed set.
