This Is The Bear

Granny came to our house yesterday and brought our two best books from her house. Daddy read both books at bedtime which was very nice. I chose the one about a bear who gets lost and goes to the dump first. I like it when Granny reads it but Daddy is ok. He just doesn’t say the words like Granny does.
Daddy Says:
This is a great little book for babies and young children that they love to hear a hundred times a day. It is written in little ryhmes with pictures that tell the story of a boy, a dog and a lost teddy bear. The words skip along nicely and after a few reads, the children know them off by heart. You find that you hardly have time to study the delicate details of the illustrations, as the ryhmes keep you turning the pages as the bear goes on an adventure. When we go out together with Granny, she nearly always has this lovely little pocket sized book with her to amuse Jack and Megan wherever we go. I don’t think she is tired of reading it yet though.
