Jack Says:

I asked Daddy for the Mr Men book with light blue and white - it was Mr Bump. He kept falling over and banging into things and hurting himself, a bit like Meggy. At the end, he got a job bumping apples out of the trees and catching them for a farmer. I don’t think Meggy will like that job because she doesn’t like fruit. I liked looking at the little pictures of the Mr Men on the back of the book.

Daddy Says:

Jack has the box set of all the Mr Men and Megan has the Little Miss books. Mr Bump is one of the better stories of the Mr Men series, some of the lesser known characters and most of the Little Miss books are a bit thin on quality. The stories are a classic from my youth but I was faintly disappointed that they were not as good I had remembered them. The children enjoy the stories and looking at the pictures on the back cover. Most of the story time is taken up with asking “who’s that” about all of the little Mr Men pictures.
