For our story at bedtime tonight I choosed on of my favourites. It is all about a man called Bob who works on the moon. He goes to work in a rocket and there are aliens on the moon but he never sees them. There are lots of nice pictures and Meggy and me like the big one with all the aliens in it. When Bob goes home he has to have a bath because working in the moon is very dusty.

This book is a real find. Every page has beautiful full page illustrations in a retro comic style with funny little details everywhere for children to notice. The story follows Bob on his days work on the moon and is packed with humour, the funniest part being when we realise that Bob doesn’t know that there are aliens everywhere. Man On The Moon is an easy read that you don’t mind hearing over and over again and is definitely on the children’s list of all time favourite books at the moment. Having read the reviews on Amazon it seems that everyone loves this book.
