Lettice - The Dancing Rabbit by Mandy Stanley

Megan Says:

Me and Jack had a new story at bedtime. I chose a pink book and it was about a girl rabbit who wanted to be a dancer. She went off to learn all about it and had lots of fun. After her family had seen her dancing on a big stage, they thought she was a big star and did not want to be with them. I thought this was a bit sad but it was ok in the end when she decided that she would rather just be a little rabbit again.

Daddy Says:

This is a sweet little story that engages the children as they understand the different emotions of Lettice and her family. The language of this book is descriptive yet easy to understand and the story flows along quite nicely although it seemed to end sooner than we had expected. There a plenty of illustrations to keep everyone interested. Not sure if this book will turn into a favourite yet.
