Megan Says:

We had a new book tonight all about a yellow duck who played hide and seek with her friend who was a frog. It was a bit sad when Dimity thought her friend was lost but it was ok. He was hiding under a leaf. At the end of the story the little duck was tired from all the playing and went to bed. I was sleepy too because I have been on my bicycle today.

Daddy Says:

This is a lovely little book with colourful pictures of Dimity Duck as she spends the day playing with her friend Frumity Frog. It is quite fun to read as each page is written in verse with some odd nonsense words thrown in. The story is quite short and was chosen because the children were very tired and did not want to concentrate on a longer story. I think the book is really aimed at 2 - 3 year olds although Jack (4) still enjoyed it ’s humour and rhymes. Fun and simple, it is a quick read after a busy day.
