Today, Daddy read my Cool Cars book. I really like cars and when I am 11 maybe I can have a real car. I watched the racing cars on the tevelision on Sunday. Mummy’s car is alway broken.

Part of the Amazing Machines series, this childrens book is just right for little boys. We have the whole series which includes Roaring Rockets, Dazzling Diggers and six other machines. Each book explains about the different machines in easy-to-read ryhmes with funny cartoons of the main characters, who appear in the whole series, in different situations. The best part of the book for Jack is the cartoon diagram showing different parts of the machine. I can remember being fascinated by such “engineering” diagrams in my own books as a boy. Must be a man thing.

Instead of getting all the individual books of the series (like we did), Amazon do a great value Box Set of all of these fantasic books.
